Who do you think the site is created for?
For potential customers since it’s a website, people come to look up the prices and variety.

What are the good attributes of the site? (in terms of usability, aesthetic, issues, etc)
It’s functions are simple and straightforward. But the fonts lacks contrasts thus lacks legibility. That has also severely let down it’s aesthetic side.

What are the bad attributes of the site?
It lacks basic color contrast, this is a very annoying part of the site as it hurts the eyes to mantain attention to it for a long period of time.

What is Browser-Safe Color Palette / Web-Safe Colors?
They are a set of 216 color values developed at the time where real world monitors were only capable of displaying 256 colors.

Is it still relevant in todays context? Why?
Yes it is relavant because different monitors have different size, resolutions, color and gamma.

Web-Safe Colors are designed to use for web pages, it’s important that the correct version of the web page is shown even on different monitors or web browsers.

What are the common font faces found on PC and Mac?
Arial, Courie, Times New Roman, Comic San,  MS San Serifs, Lucida, Impact, Georgia, Verdana and Trebuchet.

What is page loading time and how it influences your web design?
Page loading time are the length of time taken for a webpage to be fully viewable or usable, in other words ‘loaded’.

It is often frustrating when a page takes too long to load. Loading time indirectly affects your design, if your design is heavily graphical, it takes a longer time to load. Thus it limits your design contents if you want your site to load faster.

Upon reading the article, I have learnt the working process of producing, up-keeping and improving a website.
Understanding the elementary breakdown of Website Designing, Development and Implementation, which usually go along the lines of:

-Concept Development
-Sketches
-Research and discovery
(which in many cases also known as Envision, Architect, Deploy, Manage)
-Designing
-Composition
-Execution and Implementation

From the article, it has shown that the most important aspect in Website Designing And Development isn’t all about fanciful graphics and skilful HTML codings, and it should have been planning and concept development. More than often not, people tend to be over obsessed with how to make a website more interactive with graphics and complex codings, but they have forgotten about the very purpose and intends of the website.

A website with a thousand side functions and yet speak nothing of its original purpose is like a car with a hundred over exterior modifications and yet possesses no engine. So I think the most important thing I have learnt in this short and wise article is that, a website would never be completed with means of graphical codings.

What is browser wars?
The browser wars refers to competition between web browsers for marketing and revenue.

What is I.P address
Also knowned as Internet Protocol, it is a numeric identification used to identify a certain internet network. It is similar to assigning an address to your house, in the intention of making it ‘locatable’.

What is a URL
Also knowned as Uniform Resource Locator, it is a direct location of a certain resource.

What is a good website
A good website is one that is interactive, serves it’s purpose well. If a website can keep its’ user interested and at the same time able to serve the purpose it was intended for, it is in my opinion, a good website.
